THE COACH HOUSE
The Coach House sleeps up 12 people and has two double bedrooms and a triple bedroom on the ground floor.There is a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower on this floor and one of the double bedrooms has an ensuite shower room.The kitchen is accessed from the hallway by 3 steps upwards to the outside door.
This cottage was part of an original dwelling in the 1600’s, and has been restored to the highest standard with modern conveniences and comforts.

Upstairs Sitting Room
The Coach House is an impressive stone building, restored to the highest standards, using traditional building methods, local stone, slate and oak. To one side is the courtyard garden with ample parking, and to the rear there are splendid views over rolling parkland. This charming building has been furnished tastefully with antiques and modern fixtures to create a very comfortable home. All fuel and logs are included during your stay.
Accommodation is flexible, for up to twelve people, lending itself to family gatherings, friends celebrating a special occasion, or for groups and associations to meet who have common interests.
The Coach House can be booked in conjunction with any of the other properties to cater for larger groups (Up to 27 people).
The spacious entrance hall of the Coach House with its oak staircase and slate floor, leads up to a characterful entertaining room with its high roof and beams and a polished oak floor, creating an air of luxury and space. At one end, deep sofas are grouped around a large wood burning stove in an oak-beamed fireplace. A long dining table and oak chairs to the other, setting the scene fit for a banquet.
The ground floor
There are four bedrooms furnished with period furniture and traditional rugs. The main double room has an antique wooden bed and en-suite shower room with basin and WC. The second double room has an antique four-poster bed. The other two bedrooms are a twin room and a room with three single beds and vanity basin. A bathroom with a shower, basin and WC is provided for these rooms.
There are two further bedrooms, a double room with a double brass bed with views of the parkland and woods, and a charming single room overlooking the courtyard. On this level there is a separate WC and basin. These rooms are served by the shower room on the ground floor.
A semi-catering kitchen has been equipped for cooking for groups. Consisting of a catering grill, six-burner gas hob, two ovens, smaller grill, a microwave, a large catering fridge, a freezer, a catering standard dishwasher, a washing machine, dryer, two stainless steel catering sinks and all the necessary equipment required by the cook.
There is also a domestic side with a smaller sink for preparation of vegetables and a hand basin. A second oak staircase leads from here to the dining room.
Our cottages have ample, convenient parking immediately outside each cottage and our on-site Manager is available to assist you and to answer any questions that you may have during your stay.
All bed linen and towels are included in the prices. We also include a complimentary breakfast pack for your convenience.
The Coach House and Garden Cottage have real log fires and all logs are included in the prices.
Regrettably we do not accept pets in any of our cottages.
The Coach House is normally a Friday changeover for full week bookings.
The Weekend rate is the same as the Mid Week rate.
Weekend Breaks Friday - Monday (3 nights).
Mid Week Breaks Monday - Friday (4 nights).
HOW TO MAKE A BOOKING
Our office is open 7 days a week and contact details can be found at the bottom of the page.
We require a 1/3 deposit of the total cost of the holiday and this can be paid by cheque or by card payment over the telephone with a member of our staff.Full payment is required if within 60 days of the start of the holiday.If you require any additional information this supplied when booking over the telephone and any questions you may have can be answered. We will need a full name, address, contact telephone number and email address to complete your booking with us.
All provisional bookings can only be held for a maximum of 5 consecutive days, after which the dates are put back for sale if a deposit or full payment is not received within that time.
